Custom Services
The facility's core operating philosophy is to provide regular user/instrument training to encourage most users to operate instruments and analyze data independently.
Staff are also available for project consultations and to provide core services which require advanced MS skills.
Services provided include:
- Molecular formula validations of small molecules by accurate mass measurements and/or database spectral matching
- Analysis of volatiles by thermal desorption, headspace and SPME GC-MS
- Exact mass measurements of macromolecules (peptides, proteins, complexes)
- MADLI Imaging Mass Spectrometry (including matrix deposition by sublimation or spraying)
- Peptide/protein sequencing
- Characterization of olidgonucleotides
- Characterization of post translational modifications (PTMs)
- Ion mobility separation
